MINISTRY: Anthology To Include Remixes, Brand-New Song
May 31, 2005MINISTRY mainman Al Jourgensen is currently working on remixes for an upcoming MINISTRY anthology, tentatively dubbed "Rantology", due before the end of the year. In addition, the collection will feature a brand-new MINISTRY track called "The Great Satan", Jourgensen revealed during an online chat on Monday (May 30). Songs scheduled to be remixed for the upcoming set include "NWO", "Bad Blood", "No W", "Stigmata", "Jesus Built My Hotrod", "Unsung" and "Bloodlines". As previously reported, MINISTRY and its offshoot project the REVOLTING COCKS will be teaming up for a summer 2006 U.S. tour. More information will be made available during the coming months.
REVOLTING COCKS' current lineup includes Jourgensen alongside Phil "Phildo" Owen (SKATENIGS),John Monte (M.O.D., MIND FUNK, DRAGPIPE),Mike Scaccia (RIGOR MORTIS, MINISTRY) and Mark Baker (ex-FEAR, HELLIONS, SHADOW REICHENSTEIN).
MINISTRY recently completed a U.S. tour in support of their latest CD, "Houses of the Molé", available now on Sanctuary Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Animositisomina" was recorded at El Paso's Sonic Ranch studios and marks the group's first release since the departure of longtime bassist Paul Barker.
